Overview:

The .net Architect will have responsibility for designing and developing software components and systems forming part of a strategic enterprise application. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5yrs senior experience in application development. This individual will join an enthusiastic, fast-paced and dynamic project team.

Requirements:

1. Must have 3-5 yrs prior exp building & modifying business objects, web applications and database objects using Microsoft platform technologies (ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, COM+, MSMQ)

a. Responsible for development of the detailed design for individual projects
b. Perform unit and development integration testing
c. Documentation of developed solutions

2. Knowledge and experience with agile and object-oriented methodologies, notations, and processes: Rational Unified Process, Unified Modeling Language (UML), design patterns, refactoring
3. Experience designing and/or developing solutions in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
4. Should have prior exp interfacing with Business Analysts and Architects to understand business requirements and high-level design specifications
5. Proficiency with J2EE technologies a plus
6. Experience with server software including IIS, MS SharePoint, Enterprise content management systems, MSMQ, Active Directory, .NET remoting is a plus
7. Strong understanding of infrastructure and security concepts. Working experience with server farms, firewalls, networks, and distributed systems a plus
8. Microsoft Certified Software Developer (MCSD) and/or Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD) a plus
9. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
10. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator
11. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
