DAO 3.6 Library - The Example Database

The Example Database

To illustrate how our module will work, we'll need a sample database. I'll be using a file stored in C:\My Documents\test.mdb but you can call it whatever you like. Just remember the path!

In this database, create two tables. One called People and one called Animals.

Both tables should have the following fields:

ID Number (Primary Key)
FirstName Text
LastName Text

You can leave the tables without any records in for now.
