    Alternative solution:

    DateTime comparisonDate = new DateTime(_birthday.Year, DateTime.Now.Month, DateTime.Now.Day);

     

    int age = (comparisonDate.Date < _birthday.Date) ?
    DateTime.Now.Year - _birthday.Year - 1:
    DateTime.Now.Year - _birthday.Year;
