I have a domain XX.com

I have a machine - ServerAB (Windows Server 2003 SP2) that is configured as a domain controller.

I have another machine (ServerAS) that is added to the same domain (XX.com)

I have yet another machine (ServerSS) that is added to the same domain (XX.com)

Problem:  When I try to ping from ServerAS to the the domain as

ping XX.com

I get the following error

Ping request could not find the host XX.com. Please check the name and try again.

I do not get this error when i ping from the ServerSS machine.

I have logged into ServerAS as the domain administrator.

How can I fix this problem?
