Getting Mhash To Work With PHP

  In short how do I get mhash to work with php. I know I have to compile and install mhash with php but I dont   know how to and I dont understand some of the other suggestions in other forums.

  Im using Windows XP and Apache 2.2 with PHP 5. The other suggestions tell me to:

  ./configure

  among other things.

  What I dont understand is where they're doing this, because Ive tried it in my command prompt and it doesnt recognize the commands. Basically where and what in Windows XP do I have to do or change to install and compile mhash with php.
